Spring 2020 Mood Board

December 28, 2019

This mood board is meant to inspire those 2020 Spring couples who want a more down-to-earth wedding. Complete with wildflower bouquets and floral ties to round out the whole picture. Spring 2020 is all about earthy tones, and simplistic style. Scroll down for a few more ideas!

A few of my favorite 2020 trends:

  1. Beaded dresses. Who doesn’t love those??
  2. Backdrops. Perfect for creating a statement scene behind you and your new partner for life, sitting at your sweetheart table.
  3. Hoops over bouquets. Trust me, this one is sooo fun!
  4. Smaller weddings. Weddings that include only the people who matter. Larger than a typical elopement, but much smaller than the typical wedding you see today.
  5. Ethereal, spiritual weddings. This is my fav!! A growing trend for weddings involve a layer of mysticism to them. Think tarot cards, crystals, and palm readers. This is the vibe of those who don’t want the traditional church wedding, and who feel more in-touch with the spiritual side of things.
  6. Natural weddings. With all of the craziness of everyday life, there’s this growing need to get back to nature and to get married somewhere lush, and green. Whether you plan to get married in a national park, or your neighbors backyard, get back to nature.
  7. Eco friendly confetti!!! To follow up with trend #6, the next trend is something I love. There’s no planet B, and switching your send-off or walk-back-down-the-aisle-as-a-married-couple confetti should be earth friendly! Eco friendly, biodegradable confetti looks no different from regular, full plastic confetti that slowly kills the planet!!!

  8. Customized jackets! While Spring nights can be known to feel a little cooler, it’s such the style right now to have personalized jean jackets or leather jackets. This is such a fun touch to your wedding!
