you know how when you were little you’d meet someone and right away you were friends? it didn’t matter that you’d just met, you both (without even saying it out loud) decided you were friends and that was that. easy peasy.
that’s how it was with brittany + gabe. i met them a little over a year ago at true blue where we went to grab coffee and chat about their wedding the following year…and right off the bat we hit it off. it felt like we were already friends and we just happened to be talking about their wedding. it was hands down the easiest first meeting i’ve ever had with a couple.
from then on, i don’t even remember how it started but britt and i just started hanging out. whether that meant a coworking date, or seeing the latest marvel movie together, or snowboarding with gabe…we just didn’t go a week without seeing each other.
it was like that thing when you’re little and you just become friends and that’s that.
since last september, i’ve gotten to know both britt + gabe and i can say they are two of the most incredible people. they are true friends, they are kind, their love for each other is so genuine, and they’re pretty great at snowboarding (although britt will disagree with me on this 😉).
seeing them get married last sunday surrounded by their family and friends was so special and i am so honored to have been able to capture their day in part, and get to know them both better over the past year. but mostly, i am so happy for them that they finally are husband and wife.
