Ahhhhhh okay okay this proposal was supposed to happen back in March, but then you know…a global pandemic happened and really killed the vibe.
But it finally finally happened and I’m SO excited for these two!!! Kalyn was my roommate in college + Dave has been her long time boyfriend and favorite person.
Flash forward from March to August and Dave picked a date and coordinated with K’s best friend Meredith, and I to have the perfect surprise proposal!
Dave took K on an extended day date around Baltimore while Meredith + her boyfriend PJ were busy setting the scene back at Kalyn’s apartment. Dave had written out memories, stories, and reasons why he loved K and taped them to the back of a ton of photos which Meredith + PJ then hung from ribbon which was taped up on the ceiling and went through the apartment towards the back door. Dave wanted that to be the first thing that K would see when she walked through the door.
On the back patio, there were flowers, champagne, and the ring box!
Once K + Dave got home, she immediately confirmed she knew he was going to propose and then started crying as she read her way through the memories and made her way back to the patio where Dave waited.
As soon as Kalyn came outside, Meredith + PJ, who were hiding in the upstairs bathroom overlooking the yard, started a song and literally everyone started crying.
CONGRATS KALYN + DAVE!!!!!!!
