This cozy winter elopement styled shoot blog has been two (three?) years in the making. So you’ll have to bear with me because these photos are old, and if I were to have this shoot over again, there are MANY things I would do differently. However, this was the first styled shoot I organized, and I love how *some* of it came out, so I wanted to share!
I was going for a cozy, elopement style wedding shoot. I wanted to emphasize those pre-ceremony moments where the couple could just be together. Because I had such an emphasis on this, there is no ‘ceremony’ set-up….I virtually styled a shoot for the first half of your typical wedding day only, and called it a day. Whoops. But I was still learning, and like I said, this was my first styled shoot!
I had no real idea how to pose or direct, just relied on the fact that my models-of-the-day were actual professional models who knew what they were doing. Mistake number…? But hey, I’m just glad I didn’t delete the original files, which would have prevented me from re-editing the images yesterday #Win.
Thank you to all of the incredible vendors who made this possible!
