i met Noor three or so years ago when i interned at Kennedy Krieger Institute (KKI) in Baltimore. Noor was working at KKI and we became fast friends and managed to stay friends after my internship ended. Noor, our other KKI friend Alex, and i would go see movies together, get kebabs at a localish Afghani restaurant and talk for hours and hours (and hours) about everything and nothing. Noor and Alex are those people where you don’t see them often, but when you do, you could talk forever and you pick up right where you left off as if no time had passed.
a couple of months ago Noor + Amir got serious about their relationship and Amir proposed! they then planned a wedding for the same year and got married this past Saturday (12/12/21). their wedding was a beautiful blend of their cultures and traditions.
