Okay so a few weeks ago, my family and I were in California visiting family. Carmel, Ca. specifically. Let me tell you! Carmel is GORGEOUS. Although the coastal California summer weather was not what I was expecting (50 degrees every day), it’s a gorgeous slice of California. After realizing just had breathtaking this landscape was, I was determined to find a couple to shoot. I mean the beaches are beautiful, duh- but they have boulders, and cypress trees, and succulents EVERYWHERE. I was hype. So, I stalked local #’s, I stalked local photogs, and colleges and couldn’t find a couple that screamed “WE’RE MADLY IN LOVE, LETS ALL TAKE PHOTOS”. So I posted on Facebook asking if any of my friends new people in that part of California who would be willing to shoot for two hours somewhere in Carmel or Monterey. Facebook and amazing friends (thank you Alex!!) to the rescue and now I had a couple to shoot!
The couple that I ended up shooting was amazing. Like they seriously exceeded my dreams. Jenny + James are two of the sweetest, most in-love people I’ve ever met and gotten to shoot. They were totally down for whatever I wanted to do and I think I speak for all of us when I say, we had a lot of fun trying new prompts and poses that I had been dying to try. We walked all around Point Lobos State Park in Carmel and it was an absolute blast.
This was the most fun I’ve ever had during a couple session and these are some of my favorite images, so thank you Jenny + James for letting me capture your love.
