A few months back I was invited to go with three friends who are all in the wedding industry (Brooke, Paige, and Kaytee) to Philly to take headshots and explore. It was an awesome trip, and so fun exploring a newish city with friends! We stayed in the CUTEST Airbnb in Fishtown which was a 5 minute Uber ride outside of downtown Philly. I’m not great at these blog posts…so I’ll let the pictures show you what we did while in the city of brotherly love a few weekends back!
Our Airbnb had the coolest vibe, with plants, sage sticks and mix match furniture everywhere. After we got into Philly and after heading to Reading Terminal for a quick lunch, (and a parking ticket) we headed out to do some shopping. Chestnut and Walnut St. in downtown Philly are usually the only streets I go to for shopping. Free People, Anthro, Paper Source, and Buffalo Exchange are all there and why would you need anything else!?
We then headed to the Airbnb to check in, do hair and makeup and snap some images before dinner.
On our second day in Philly we got up, Brooke had a boudoir shoot and then we all headed to Philly’s Magic Gardens and to some cool murals in the surrounding area.
And of course no trip to Philly would be complete without a stop at Terrain. Terrain is Anthropologie’s garden store…aka plant heaven.
